Dr. Michael Klein

Michael “Doc” Klein, PhD is a clinical psychologist with 19 years experience as a clinician, college professor, researcher, and mentor. His research interest in peak performance and expertise dates back to his master’s thesis in 1998. He played collegiate golf at Brandeis University 1991 -1994, and continues to compete in New Jersey state amateur tournaments.

His sport performance work combines expertise in human personality, cognition, emotion, communication, motor learning and human flourishing.

Coaching

Since 2021, Dr. Klein has specialized in coaching elite junior, collegiate, and professional golfers in every area of mental performance. Every athlete he works with involves extensive assessment of current performance skills, competitive background, goals, and careful analysis of previous successes, challenges, and setbacks.
